  1. The 25th Speedway Motors Southwest Nationals event comes to WestWorld of Scottsdale this weekend. The family-friendly, action-packed event organized by Goodguys Rod & Custom Association will be the final car show of the 2022 season, featuring a kid’s zone, live music, burnout competitions, and over 2,000 restored classic cars and trucks on display. The event runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily between Nov. 18 and Nov. 20. (citysuntimes)
  2. A cat is dead following an apartment fire that broke out early Tuesday morning in Scottsdale. The incident occurred just before 4:00 a.m. at a complex near Hayden Road and Via de Ventura, where two apartment units were discovered in flames. The cause of the fire is under investigation and the Scottsdale Fire Department is working to help find temporary housing for residents who have been displaced. (Arizona’s Family)
  3. Comedian Trevor Noah has announced plans to bring his “Off the Record” tour to the Valley next fall. The “The Daily Show” host will perform at the Arizona Financial Theatre in nearby Phoenix on Oct. 20, 2023.
